House Tour: The Rest of Downstairs

This may sound weird, but I think my favorite space in my house is the downstairs hallway/entryway. A lot of my favorite items are here, and I think this space represents my style better than any other room. Colorful, eclectic, modern, filled with art, and a touch of mid-century and Chinoiserie style.

I also really love the downstairs powder room. It has great little built-in shelves that are the perfect spot to display my collection of French and Italian knick-knacks. About half of them are souvenirs from my trips abroad and the other half are gift from my mom.

Rugs: Nate Berkus from HSN; Blue Mirror: My grandparents, repainted; Gallery Wall: Eiffel tower print from Plaza Art Fair, Beach print from gallery in Perdido Key, FL, Mirror from garage sale, boat photograph by me, Bird piece by Dolan Geiman, Butterfly print by Alicia Bock, Dog print by Dolan Geiman, Chicago print from Plaza Art Fair; Bamboo Mirror: Vintage, West Bottoms; Garden Stool: Marshall’sHome is Wherever I’m With You print: DearEmmie; Chair: Ben’s family, repainted and seat recovered; Bathroom prints: From Italy, DIY frames; Bathroom tray: Nebraska Furniture Mart
