Today’s theme was “Today’s Temperature.” I wasn’t sure how to capture that so instead I took a picture of the sunset from my back deck. That works, right? (And yes, I did give it some fun effects in Picasa but it was really pretty to start with too)
I hope you all have had a great day!
Yep that’s me, and this picture captures the theme “Joyous” quite well because I am FINALLY done with my big Interior Design project! There were three phases to it with the last being the most work intensive; I estimated that I spent about 20 hours working on phase 3 alone. I didn’t sleep much last night because I was nervous about my presentation today but I think it went very well. And the best part is, like I said, that I’m done!!
Here’s a closer photo of the presentation boards that have all of my paint, flooring, furniture, cabinet, tile, and upholstery samples. It took a very long time to put it all together but I’m really happy with how they turned out!
I only have three classes left before my finals next Thursday. I can’t believe how fast my first semester back in school went by!
Can you believe it’s already December 3? That means, including today, there are only 23 days until Christmas! Good thing I have this adorable penguin nutcracker to help me count down the days. Isn’t he just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?! I think I’ll name him Sherman. Sherman the Christmas penguin. I like it.
Of course there are a million things to do before the big day gets here but I’m adding something else to my list. I found this December photo challenge on Pinterest this morning and I’m going to give it a shot.
I’ve wanted to try one of these photo-a-day challenges for a while now and this seems like the perfect way to start. So here is my photo (or in this case, photo collage) for today’s theme: Red.
I especially like the lantern filled with ornaments in the bottom left corner. Thanks Mal for the idea!
Now it’s time to get back to my big school project that’s due tomorrow. I feel like I still have so much to do!! I think I’ll try to keep my nerves calm with some Christmas music in the background, courtesy of Otis Redding, N Sync, Mariah, J Biebs, Ella Fitzgerald, and Hanson, just to name a few.
